BREAKING: Workers’ Compensation Benefits Approved for Billerud Escanaba Paper Mill Employees.

As of Thursday, April 20th, 2023, Billerud has agreed to approve processing the workers’ compensation claims of its employees. However, due to the lengthy investigation and delay in approving the cases, collateral issues remain, such as the subrogation rights of other parties, that will have to be resolved between Billerud’s administrator of workers’ compensation benefits and its employees.
